A regional arts conference for performing arts practitioners and business leaders, Borak Arts Series returns this year with the theme Bringing Arts Closer To Home
This programme aims to promote corporate philanthropy and mecenat via implementing research, mutual exchanges, symposiums and conference in collaboration with Southeast Asian countries. Organised by the Association for Corporate Support for the Arts 'Kigyo Mecenat Kyogikai' Japan (KMK) since early 2015 (having hosted it in Osaka, Jakarta and Tokyo).
Bicara Titian Budaya underlines the spirit of partnership, collaborations and co-operation between the two countries through a 1 day dialogue which explores cross-cultural expressions, and highlight shared cultural and entertainment traditions and icons familiar to both countries.

This year’s Borak Arts Series finds a new home in the internationally acclaimed Georgetown Festival to enable participants to immerse in the glocal’s best arts and culture. Building from 2013 and 2014’s Borak Arts Series of Building Sustainability in the Arts and Building Knowledge Capacity in Funding and Mobility, we take the discussions forward to break boundaries and strengthen relationships across ASEAN communities via this year’s theme of ASEAN and The Future
Borak Arts Youth Series 2015 is a platform for aspiring You(th) Artpreneurs to converge, to discuss and share ideas, in addition to building knowledge capacity in entrepreneurship between youth of similar interest and passion within the arts.
